As someone who was a huge bookworm growing up and was a media communications major for a little while, I know the importance of media representation, and I recognize the fear in the American government that creates mass hysteria through book banning in educational sectors due to disinformation.  I actively seek out queer representation in media, which was one of the reasons I stumbled into the gaming industry, because the gaming industry was still so cis-het normative!
